New Muslim Cool takes viewers on Hamza's ride through the streets, projects and jail cells of urban America, as he transforms his life as a young Muslim, through his hip-hop duo M-Team. Director: Jennifer Maytorena Taylor (San Francisco, 82 min. English).
Venue: On the roof of El Museo Del Barrio

Filmmaker and subjects will be in attendance. Live pre-show musical performance by Hamza Pérez at 8:30pm; film begins at 9pm. Open bar after-party following the screening.
